Oxford is a historic small town located in Sumner County, Kansas on Highway 160.  Oxford has been named a TREE CITY USA for over 10 years.

The town site sits on the west bank of the Arkansas River. Cave Park is located on the east side of town, and offers a playground area for children, a covered shelter, and a public access, paved boat ramp to the Arkansas River.

Little Town Square is in the heart of the City and provides a place to sit and enjoy the activities downtown.

Napawalla Park, located right off Highway 160, provides camping facilities and covered shelters with tables, and a great playground area.

The Oxford Public Library, also located at 115 South Sumner, is open Monday thru Friday from 9-Noon and 1-5 PM.  The Library provides special programs during the year such as the Summer Reading Program, Page Turners Book Club, Books and Babies, Story Time and other fun activities.
