Oxford is a historic small town located in Sumner County, Kansas on Highway 160 with a population of approximately 1,000 residents. Oxford has been named a TREE CITY USA since 1992. The town site sits on the west bank of the Arkansas River. Cave Park is located on the east side of town, and offers a playground area for children, a covered shelter, and a public access, paved boat ramp to the Arkansas River.     The 76th Annual Oxford Watermelon Feed will be Saturday September 7th.  There will be a Car Show, UTV Poker Run, Inflatables, Parade, Food Trucks, Petting Zoo, giveaways, FREE WATERMELON, Vendors, Street Dance, Fireworks and so much more!!! Starts at 9am and goes until the bands leave after midnight!!  Come join us for all the fun that day!!!
