Burn Site Attendant

The Burn Site Attendant is a contracted vendor responsible for overseeing operations at the City’s designated burn site during scheduled public access dates. The attendant ensures proper use of the site, compliance with applicable regulations, and reports violations as required.

 

Pool Managers

The Pool Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operation of the City swimming pool and supervising aquatics staff. This position coordinates lifeguard scheduling to ensure proper coverage for all pool hours, swim lessons, events, and private parties, in accordance with the schedule set by the City Office. Additional responsibilities of the Pool Manager are handling basic administrative and cash handling duties, ensuring safe and efficient operations by enforcing pool rules, responding to emergencies, completing required reports, and maintaining a clean and well-functioning facility.

 

Pool Lifeguards

Lifeguards are responsible for ensuring the safety of all patrons at the city pool by monitoring swimmers, enforcing pool rules, and responding to emergencies. Duties include supervising designated areas, performing water rescues and first aid as needed, maintaining a clean and safe pool environment, and assisting with daily pool operations such as admissions and concessions. Lifeguards must hold a valid lifeguard certification and demonstrate strong swimming skills, attentiveness, and the ability to work well as part of a team. Wages start at $7.50 per hour, with potential raises for returning lifeguards. Applications will be accepted until all positions are filled; however, early submission is encouraged to ensure new lifeguards can attend the required certification training.
