Oxford is a historic small town located in Sumner County, Kansas on Highway 160 with a population of approximately 1,000 residents. Oxford has been named a TREE CITY USA since 1992. The town site sits on the west bank of the Arkansas River. Cave Park is located on the east side of town, and offers a playground area for children, a covered shelter, and a public access, paved boat ramp to the Arkansas River. Did you know the City of Oxford offers Vacation Watch forms at the City Office? 📝

If you're heading out of town and would like some extra peace of mind, stop by and fill out a Vacation Watch form. This free service allows the Oxford Police Department 🚓 to keep an extra eye on your property while you're away.

All you need to do is come into the City Office and complete the form. Be sure to provide as many details as possible — such as dates you'll be gone 📅, emergency contact info 📞, and any vehicles that may be on the property 🚗. Once submitted, the form will be passed along to our officers, who will include your residence in their regular patrols 👮‍♂️.

It’s a simple step that can make a big difference in keeping your home secure while you're enjoying your time away! ✈️🏖️
