Oxford is a historic small town located in Sumner County, Kansas on Highway 160 with a population of approximately 1,000 residents. Oxford has been named a TREE CITY USA since 1992. The town site sits on the west bank of the Arkansas River. Cave Park is located on the east side of town, and offers a playground area for children, a covered shelter, and a public access, paved boat ramp to the Arkansas River. Do you love our local parks? Dream of new playgrounds, community events, or making our green spaces even more inviting? 🌼🛝 Then this is your moment!

The City of Oxford has 2 open volunteer positions on the Park Board, and we’re looking for enthusiastic, community-minded individuals to join the team! 💪

🌟 As a Park Board member, you’ll:

  • Help plan events & park improvements 🎉

  • Dream up creative ideas for our public spaces 💡

  • Volunteer with a fun, passionate group 🧑‍🤝‍🧑

  • Be a voice for outdoor fun and family-friendly spaces 🌞
