Oxford is a historic small town located in Sumner County, Kansas on Highway 160 with a population of approximately 1,000 residents. Oxford has been named a TREE CITY USA since 1992. The town site sits on the west bank of the Arkansas River. Cave Park is located on the east side of town, and offers a playground area for children, a covered shelter, and a public access, paved boat ramp to the Arkansas River. Final Power Update

 

Evergy has finished their repairs and was able to switch the City of Oxford back over to full power without having to turn off any electricity.

There will be no interruption to power for the City of Oxford.

Thank you again for your patience and understanding while we navigated this unexpected electrical outage. We truly appreciate everyone’s cooperation while the issue was being resolved.
