Oxford is a historic small town located in Sumner County, Kansas on Highway 160 with a population of approximately 1,000 residents. Oxford has been named a TREE CITY USA since 1992. The town site sits on the west bank of the Arkansas River. Cave Park is located on the east side of town, and offers a playground area for children, a covered shelter, and a public access, paved boat ramp to the Arkansas River.     Notice to Residents

    🚧💦 Heads up, neighbors! 💦🚧
    Our awesome City Utility Crew is out this morning upgrading a fire hydrant on South Sumner! 🧑‍🔧🚒

    To get the job done safely, we’ll need to temporarily shut off water to folks south of Pine St and along Oxford Rd (south of town). But no worries — the outage should be super short ⏱️ while we install the shiny new hydrant! ✨🚰
